To provide a plate-type heat exchanger and a refrigeration air conditioning device of high performance and high reliability, constituted by stacking a plurality of heat transfer plates, and providing the vertical plate-type heat exchanger with a function for separating oil.

An inflow pipe 5 as an inlet of fluid is disposed at one end side in the stacking direction of the plurality of heat transfer plates 2, 3, each of the plurality of plates 2, 3 is provided with an inflow hole to which the fluid flows in from the inflow pipe 5, and an outflow hole, each of the plates 2, 3 has a flow channel for allowing the fluid flowing in from the inflow hole to flow to the outflow hole, between the stacked plates adjacent to each other, and a flow channel width W1 of the first layer as the flow channel formed at one end side in the stacking direction is wider than that of the other flow channel width W2.
