Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a resistance in flowability of liquid without reducing a pressure resistance at a bank part by a method wherein the bank part between passage holes of a plate communicated to each other and a heat transfer surface is formed with some rib projections having a predetermined height only at the optional part.
CONSTITUTION: A plate 20 is constructed such that a passage hole 2 of four passage holes formed at four corners of the plate is communicated with a heat transfer surface 21. A gasket 24 is fitted to a gasket groove 23. A passage hole 22 communicated with the heat transfer surface 21 is cooperatively formed with a bank 25. In this case, a rib-like projection 26 having its forming height contacted with its adjoining plate is formed only at the peripheral part 25a of the bank 25 which is near to the gasket groove 23 in the same manner as that of the prior art. In turn, a central part 25b of the bank 25 separated from the gasket groove 23 is not formed with a rib-like projection 26, but formed in a flat surface. With such an arrangement described above, it is possible to reduce a flowing resistance of flowing liquid at the plate 20 without reducing an anti-pressure characteristic at the bank 25.
