Abstract:
To adjust parallelism of a platen to a recording head easily through a simple arrangement.
Between a platen 6 and a platen support 16, a guide body 22 having a surface for guiding the platen 6 in the direction turning along a plane perpendicular to the Y axis, a part 24 engaging with the guide body 22 to slide freely on the guide surface thereof, and a mechanism for securing the platen 6, at an optional inclination angle, to the platen support 16 by means of a cap screw 28 are provided.
