To inexpensively provide a plating power supply device that allows an AC power supply to safely cope with two voltages of a high-voltage system and a low-voltage system, is easy in operation by displaying a received abnormal voltage, and reduced in weight.
A power supply main circuit 1 is constituted of first and second smoothing capacitors that receive alternate currents and are connected to the output side of an input rectifying circuit to be connected, an inverter, a high-frequency transformer, and an output rectifying circuit. The power supply main circuit also comprises a means that switches the connection/release of a series connecting point of the first and second capacitors so as to correspond to a power receiving voltage system, so that a prescribed DC voltage is fed to the input end of the inverter, and a panel operation/display means 6 that displays the adaptability/non-adaptability of the received voltage, and displays a set key operation instruction in the vicinity of the former display.
