To provide a plating-touch finished article which allows a uniform silver thin film layer to be formed thereon despite its complicated article shape and causes no nuisance with the other advantages such as high adhesive properties, formability of uniform coating film and outstanding chlorine resistance and a plating-touch finishing method.

A plastic material layer, a silver thin film layer formed using an electroless silver mirror reaction and at least one kind of transparent film layer, with high weatherability composed of a thermoplastic film or a cured film, which is selected from the group consisting of a urethane resin film layer, a polyvinyl chloride resin film layer, a fluororesin film layer, an acrylic resin film layer and a silicone resin film layer, if necessary, through a cementing medium, are sequentially laminated.
