Abstract:
To provide a method of recovering platinum group elements from an ammonium solution containing the platinum group elements.
The method of recovering the platinum group element from the ammonium solution containing the platinum group element comprises: an ammonia removing step of adding an alkali agent in the solution and heating to volatile and remove the most of ammonium ions in the solution as ammonia; and a precipitation treatment step of the platinum group element as a hydroxide by adding an oxidizing agent to oxidize and decompose the remaining ammonia as nitrogen, adding hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH of the liquid to 7-9 and adding the oxidizing agent.
