Abstract:
To provide a platinum-group metal recovery agent and a platinum-group metal recovery method which are capable of recovering each of platinum and rhodium selectively at a high recovery rate.SOLUTION: The platinum-group metal recovery agent is represented by the general formula (1) in the figure. The platinum-group metal recovery method comprises using the platinum-group metal recovery agent to recover platinum or rhodium from a hydrochloric acid solution containing the platinum or rhodium, where the platinum-group metal recovery agent and the hydrochloric acid solution are mixed to cause the platinum or rhodium to precipitate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
