Abstract:
To prevent column automatic operation control from immediately being released, even though a driver riding on a follow-up vehicle following a leading vehicle mistakenly performs a handle operation, a brake operation, or an accelerator operation.SOLUTION: When initially performing setting of a follow-up vehicle following a leading vehicle during column-traveling, the follow-up vehicle specifies the leading vehicle to be followed, and sets a normal override determination value to a high value to suppress a driver override control; and releasing of a column automatic operation due to an erroneous operation of a driver is prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
