To provide PLC network equipment which can stably maintain communication quality and communicate even in an environment wherein communication has been impossible in a prior art.
The PLC network equipment has a PLC module 16 and a wireless LAN module 19. A PLC communication quality detecting circuit 161 detects the communication quality of the PLC module 16 and a wireless communication quality detecting circuit 191 detects the communication quality of the wireless LAN module 19. When receiving information (low quality) indicating that predetermined communication quality cannot be secured from the PLC communication quality detecting circuit 161, a control unit 11 inputs and outputs data to and from the wireless LAN module 19 to perform data transmission and reception through the wireless LAN.
