Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive, disposal pleat cartridge filter having simple structure as a prefilter of a condensate desalination device in a condensate system of a thermal power plant.
SOLUTION: A pleat type filter body in which a flat plate-shaped filter sheet is folded in pleats to form it into a cylinder is arranged around a water collecting core of a central part. The filter body 7 having laminated structure consisting of a second layer 702 consisting of a filter membrane having filter action to suspended matter as the inner surface of the cylinder and a first layer 701 consisting of coarse nonwoven fabric in which there is essentially no filter action to the suspended matter as the outer surface of the cylinder. Besides, the average folded pitch in the circumferential direction in a folded part on the cylinder inner edge side of the filter body is 2.5mm, and the thickness of the filter layer is 200μm.
