Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleat filter that contributes to stable long-term use by preventing a rupture caused by the use, and a ballast water treatment apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: In a pleat filter, a filter base material has folds in such a manner that a crest part and a valley part are repeated, and assumes a cylindrical shape in which a ridgeline direction of the fold is set to be an axial direction. A reinforcement plate is provided in the valley part seen from the inside of the cylindrical shape.
