Abstract:

To provide new compounds, a method for producing them and a medicinal composition containing them.

A pleuromutilin derivative or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt is represented by formula (IA): wherein, n and m are each independently 0, 1 or 2; X is selected from -O-, -S-, -S(O)-, -SO2-, -CO-O-, -NH-, -CONH-, -NHCONH- and a bond; R1 is vinyl or ethyl; R2 is a nonaromatic monocyclic or bicyclic group that contains 1 or 2 basic nitrogen atoms and combines via a carbon atom in the ring; R3 is H or OH; of which the 14th-place glycolic ester part is substituted with R2(CH2)mX(CH2)nCH2COO, or of which the 14th-place R2(CH2)mX(CH2)nCH2COO part is substituted with RaRbC=CHCOO.
