Abstract:
PURPOSE: To always apply constant tension to recording paper regardless of the diameter of a paper feed roller when the recording paper is drawn out of the paper feed roller.
CONSTITUTION: Recording paper 7 is reciprocally driven in an X-axis direction by a pressure roller 8 and a drive roller 9 and a pen head 3 is driven in a Y-axis direction to perform drawing on recording paper 7. A paper feed roller 21 and a taking-up roller 26 are respectively arranged on the supply side and discharge side of the recording paper 7 with respect to the drive roller 9. When the recording paper 7 is drawn out of the paper feed roller 21 by driving the drive roller 9, braking is intermittently applied to the paper feed roller 21 while the position deviation between the objective position and present position of the recording paper 7 is monitored by a controller and a servo means not shown in a drawing so as to receive the position deviation within a predetermined range.
