Abstract:
To provide a thermoplastic plug body for an infusion liquid container which is rich in elasticity and excellent in sealability at needle piercing time, needle holding force, coring, resealability and hygienic property after needle removal, and to provide the infusion liquid container.
In this plug body for the infusion liquid container, a sealant composed of a thermoplastic elastomer composition prepared by using hydrogenated block copolymer having a molecular weight and a molecular weight distribution both of which fall within specific ranges as the main raw material is integrally formed in a state where the sealant is pressurized in the horizontal direction by the cap body of a plastic cylindrical cap.
