Abstract:
To provide a plug connection system for connecting a plurality of cables between a tractor and a trailer and to provide its individual components, namely a fifth wheel connector and a plug connector.
The cable between the tractor and the trailer is usually inserted thereto manually. There is no successful automatic system in the market in the past. The plug connection system connects the supply cables in a satisfactory and safe way when the trailer is connected to or separated from the tractor. A socket (9) is fixed to the fifth wheel connector (1) below an insertion hole (7), while a contact (11b) for a plug (3) is arranged in an insertion connector (4) below a king pin (2).
