Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear and breakage of a monitor cap fixing screw hole of a casing of electronic equipment for a CATV.
SOLUTION: A seat part 12 of a monitor cap 9 fits loosely on a head 21 of a monitor cap acceptor 7 screwed to a casing 1 and to which the monitor cap 9 is screwed, a recess 24 the depth of which is equal to the thickness of the seat part 12 is formed, the outer diameter of the seat part 12 is set, so that when the monitor cap 9 is screwed in with a spanner or the like, the step difference between a surface 33 of the seat part 12 and a top face 34 of the monitor cap acceptor 7 can be seen eyesight. In a state in which the surface 33 and the top face 34 are almost flush with each other, the waterproof property of a screw hole 23 is ensured with an O-ring 25 fit to the monitor cap 9, and a small gap is formed between the bottom surface 31 of the recess 24 and the back surface 32 of the seat part 12.
