Title:
PLUG SOCKET CONNECTING MECHANISM FOR DC POWER SUPPLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004158332
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that a plug receptacle of a plug socket for a DC power supply has a pair of metal pieces at an anode side and a cathode side, which pieces have equal length and when the plug is drawn out during energizing, an arc is generated that can injure a human body and to damage electric equipment.

A solenoid coil 17 is connected to an anode end 16 connected to the DC power supply 11. A movable locking member 19 to be driven by the coil 17 is inserted into a locking cutout part 23 provided on the anode side cap blade 22 of the plug, and the member 19 locks the attachment plug in an energizing state. Thus, the arc is prevented from being generated by drawing out the plug during the energizing.
