To provide a plunger pump and a fluid pump for engine capable of restraining pulsation of discharging flow rate and improving pump efficiency.
This plunger pump uses a linear motor 3 as a driving source and is constituted of a plunger 5 disposed at a reciprocatable armature 3b of a linear motor 3; a first pump room 8 for sucking fluid by a go-movement of the plunger 5 and discharging fluid by a return-movement; and a second pump room 9 for sucking fluid by a return-movement of the plunger 5 and discharging fluid by the go-movement. Moreover, the plunger pump includes: an intake side check valve 30 allowing sucking of the fluid into the first pump room 8 while blocking a counter-flow; a discharging side check valve 40 allowing discharging of the fluid from the first pump room 8 while blocking the back flow; an intake check valve 50 allowing sucking of the fluid to the second pump room 9 while blocking the counter flow and a discharging side check valve 60 allowing discharging of the fluid from the second pump room 9 while blocking the reverse flow.
