To provide a plunger solenoid unit which is manufactured using a simple manufacturing method, simple in structure, so as to be easily assembled, and reduced in manufacturing cost as a whole.
A plunger solenoid unit 1 is equipped with an arc-shaped coil (solenoid) 3, an arc-shaped plunger 4, a yoke 5 which serves as a member for forming a magnetic circuit and is provided with a U-shaped cutout 5a located at its one end and quipped with an opening part 5b, and a stationary iron core 8, which is fitted into the cutout 5a via the opening part 5b and then fixed by caulking an opening piece 5b1 out of two opening pieces 5b1 and 5b2 which form the opening part 5b. As a result of this setup, this plunger solenoid unit is manufactured using a simple manufacturing method and is significantly reduced in manufacturing cost as a whole.
