To prepare a plushed pile fabric most suitable as a woven or knit fabric for vehicle, upholstering of room chair, etc., and having excellent surface irregularity effect, feeling, beautifulness and luxury feeling.

This plushed pile fabric has surface irregularity formed by using a spun yarn composed mainly of a latent crimping fiber as a part of the plushed pile part. Preferably the spun yarn composed mainly of the latent crimping fiber has a 10% elongation modulus of ≥30% after the wet-heat treatment at 130°C and the latent crimping fiber is composed of a conjugate polyester copolymer fiber.
