Abstract:

PURPOSE: To save energy, to compensate leakage of air on a pneumatic working device or an overall device and to monitor it by minimizing pneumatic pressure required between working parts in a pneumatic control valve device to selectively control movement of the pneumatic working device.

CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic control device has a control air inlet port 12 connected to a pressurized control air source, at least one discharge port 14, at least first and second supply ports 16, 18 to selectively supply control air to forcibly actuate a pneumatic working armature respectively to first and second working positions and a pilot air inlet port 20 connected to a supply source free to selectively work and not work of pilot air pressurized to selectively make the control device work and not work. Additionally, the control device is devised to efficiently compensate leakage of the device by having overall control pneumatic pressure only at the time when a proper working function of the overall device is required.
