PURPOSE: To provide a pneumatic device for cleaning an air filter and a general filter used in industry, particularly a filter mounted on a heat absorbing engine in a motor vehicle and the like.

CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic device comprises a casing 1, provided with a water tight door. The casing communicates with a compressed air duct 7, and contains one or more supports 2, 5 which can be adjusted. Each support receives a filter -F- to be cleaned, the filter being of any known shape or size. A motor 4 is provided for setting into angular motion each support and relative filter. A second jet of compressed air, ejected by a top 8b of a mobile branch of a duct 8 frees the surface not hit by a first jet of air from the particles of dust. The dust removed is directed to an intake collector 1 g connected to a duct in depression which provides for sending the air-dust mixture to known separating means.
