Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car which is excellent in wear resistance and reduced in rolling resistance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car comprises a carcass which has a pair of bead parts, a pair of sidewall parts, and a tread part continued to both of the sidewall parts, and is extended between a pair of the bead parts in a toroidal shape. A rubber composition which is formed by blending a specified water-containing silicic acid to an emulsion polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer and/or a rubber composition containing natural rubber is applied to the tread part. Here, when preparing the rubber composition, a blending amount of the water-containing silicic acid is larger than 40 pts. mass and not larger than 90 pts. mass with respect to 100 pts. mass of the rubber composition. On the other hand, a total blending amount of the emulsion polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer and the natural rubber is not less than 10 mass% and not larger than 50 mass% of the whole rubber composition, and a tire cross section width SW and an outside diameter OD have a specified relationship.
