To provide a pneumatic radial tire, which combines high durability and driving stability and has such a structure that a folded end of a carcass is clamped in a belt layer, and which can be easily produced by using a carcass material of existing size without preparing a particularly ultra-wide carcass material.
Two layers of carcasses A, B are reached from a tread part 1 to a bead part 3 through left and right side wall parts 2, and its both ends are folded back from an inner side of the tire to an outer side around the left and right bead cores 4, 4. The belt layer 6 is arranged on an outer periphery side of the carcasses A, B, and the whole width in a tire width direction of the carcasses A, B is substantially made to the same length and is offset to an opposite direction to each other in the tire width direction. The folded lengths from the left and right bead cores 4 of the both end parts of the carcasses A, B are made different from each other, and the one having the shorter folded length is terminated at a neighborhood to the bead core 4. The one having the longer folded length is extended to and terminated at an inner side in the tire width direction of the belt layer end part 6e.
