To provide a pneumatic radial tire excellent in riding comfort and lightness without degrading durability and wear resistance.
A reinforcement material of a first belt layer and second belt layer is a bundle of two non-twist cords, and all filaments constituting the cords are of the same diameter "a". A distance between a first belt layer cord and a second belt layer cord is increased by a/4 or more as an expected value than an inter-cord distance represented by a circumscribing circle, and two cords of the bundle at least at a part are arranged to be closer to each other by a/4 or more than a width represented by using a circumscribing circle. Assuming that a cord interval between the first belt layer and the second belt layer is A, a distance between an inside surface end in tire's radial direction of the first belt layer cord and an inside surface in tire's radial direction of the first belt layer is B, and a distance between an outside surface end in tire's radial direction of the second belt layer cord and an outside surface in tire's radial direction of the second belt layer is C, the relationships represented as A/2>B and A/2>C are met. An inter-belt rubber having a thickness of 0.2-0.5 mm is disposed between the first belt layer and the second belt layer at a second belt layer end.
