Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simultaneously improve each of performances of vibration riding comfortableness of a tire, appearance of a tire side, noisiness of a tire at traveling and uniformity, without reducing traveling stability of the tire.
CONSTITUTION: As to a pneumatic radial tire having a steel belt ply, a carcass ply has the structure of a mono-ply and a structure having no superimposed joint of carcass ply cords, which comprise polyester fiber which is made of polyester having limiting viscosity not less than 0.8 and has ductility not less than 1.4% at loading 0.5g/D, ductility of 6.0W10.0% at loading 2.25g/D and a heat contraction rate not more than 2.0% at 177°C.
