Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire which can exert a high level separation resistance of a folded-back end part satisfactorily by enhancing the exfoliating resistance of the carcass body from cords of covering rubber.
SOLUTION: A rubber filler 7 to be set between the body 5a of carcass and a folded-back part includes three sorts of rubber having different JIS hardness, and among them, the hardest rubber member 7-1 is positioned on the carcass body 5a side at least in the outer region of both sides in the tire radial direction pinching the normal Lv to the outside surface of the carcass body 5a passing the folded-back end part, and the intermediate rubber member is installed as a stress relieving rubber layer 7-2 between the outer surface of the carcass body 5a and the hardest rubber member 7-1, and the softest rubber member 7-3 is arranged on the inner surface of the folded-back part, wherein the layer 7-2 has a hardness below that of the cord covering rubber of the carcass 5.
