Title:
PNEUMATIC RADIAL TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3165651
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce passing noise when a vehicle rises up and down a step.
SOLUTION: A pneumatic radial tire has a carcass 6 passing a side wall part from a tread part 2 and held around a bead core and a belt layer 7 arranged radial outside this carcass 6 and arranged inside the tread part 2 and formed including a crown circular arc of radius of curvature R1 extending from tire equator position CP to both sides of tire axial direction and an intermediate circular arc of radius of curvature R2 smoothly extending to both ends of this crown circular arc and a shoulder circular arc of radium of curvature R3 smoothly running at both out sides of the tire axial direction of this intermediate circular arc and substantially extending to tread grounding end. The radius of curvature R1 of the crown circular arc is 2.0-3.5 times of tread width TW and smaller than the radius of curvature R2 of the intermediate circular arc and larger than radius of curvature R3 of the shoulder circular arc and also camper amount T1, radical direction distance between tire equator CP and tread end E is set at 0.038-0.050 times of tread width TW.
