Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the grounding pressure of a tread from being rapidly changed in a narrow range, and suppress occurrence and development of eccentric abrasion by regulating the outer profile of the tread in a grounding range by the polynomial of a value that distance from a tire equatorial surface to an optional point on the outer profile is divided by axial distance.
SOLUTION: An outer profile 25 in the grounding range of a tread 19 is a curve that is projected most to an outside in a radial direction in a tire equatorial surface S, and a value (y) that falling height J from a tread center at an optional point T on the outer profile 25 is divided by falling height H from a tread center at a grounding end P under a non-load condition, is expressed by the polynomial of a value (x) that distance L from the tire equatorial surface S to the optional point T on the outer profile 25 is divided by axial distance W. The value (y) is set to be a value or more that is calculated by 4.23X6-9.59 X5+8.88X4-3.93X3+1.41X2-0.03, and a value or below that is calculated by 4.23X6-9.59X5+8.88X4-3.93X3+1.41X2+0.03.
