Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire extending the wear life without little effect on the tire performance such as traction performance.
SOLUTION: Five main grooves 2 extending in circumferential direction of a tire are provided on a tread 1 to form separately six lines of land parts. The individual land parts are divided into block lines 4 to 6 comprising multiple blocks 4a to 6a by multiple sub grooves 3 extending in crosswise direction of the tire. The area of grooves is set to a range of 25±10% of the tread area, and area ratio of individual blocks 4a to 6a are set to a relation of 1:0.9 to 1.9:1.8 to 2.2 from the shoulder side block line 4 to the center block line 6.
