PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the durability of a bead section of a heavy duty tire by turning down a part of a carcass layer composed of textile cords in a bead section, and by turning up the remainder part thereof, and by disposing a reinforcing layer therebetween. CONSTITUTION:One 1' of two carcass layers composed of textiles cords is turned down outside of a bead wire 2. The remainder 1 of the carcass layer is folded back from the inside of the bead wire 2 to the outside thereof so as to be turned up. Further, a reinforcing layer 3 formed of steel cords or aromatic polyamide fiber cords is disposed between the turned-down part 10 and the turned-up part 11.
