Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic regulator which can be mounted on an end cap of a pneumatic tool and reduces exhaust sound and reaction which are generated when an air hose is removed.
SOLUTION: A piston 5 and a poppet valve holder 6 are arranged in opposition in a cylinder 4, and a pressure adjusting screw 7 is rotated to adjust secondary pressure. A male screw part 8 for mounting on a grip end of a pneumatic tool is molded in the cylinder 4, and a female screw part 22 for mounting an air plug is molded in the poppet valve holder 6. A projection part 12 is provided in the piston 5, a relief passage 13 which is led from a tip face thereof to a rear surface of the piston 5 and a passage 15 which passes through from the circumference of the projection part 12 to an end face of a piston rod 14 are provided, and a vent port 17 is provided in a spring chamber 4a. When an air hose is removed from an air plug, a poppet 19 leaves the piston 5, and pressure air is dispersed into two systems to an air plug side and the relief passage 13 and is exhausted.
