Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire having excellent properties.
Provided is a pneumatic tire containing a rubber member, wherein the member contains 100 pts.wt. (a) at least one elastomer containing olefinic unsaturations and 1-20 phr of (b) a liquid organic polysulfide polymer having a molecular weight of 500-10,000. In a preferable embodiment, the rubber member is selected from the group consisting of an apex, a wire coat, a ply coat, a squeegee compound, a gum strip, a chafer, an inner liner, a reinforcing side wall insert, a tread, and an exposed side wall.
