Abstract:

To provide an lightweight but strong and inexpensive bead core having competitiveness against a bead core made wholly of steel for a harsh working condition such as that for an aircraft.

The bead core 30 made of light alloy is provided with an internal core 33 made from a wire 34 made of an alloy of lightweight metal having an outer side sheath like layer 35 comprising wires 36 made of steel. The bead core 30 is suited for a working condition with a heavy load of a tire 100 for a machine used off-road, a commercial truck and particularly an aircraft.
