Title:
PNEUMATIC TIRE FOR IMPROVING RIDING COMFORT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01237205
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve steering stability and riding comfort by arranging a reinforcing rubber layer at least in an area contacting with a rim flange. CONSTITUTION:A rubber reinforcing member 60 is composed of two types of complex rubbers having different Shore hardness A and split axially in at least an area contacting with a rim flange 80 when a tire is rimmed. The reinforcing rubber layer 60 is composed of hard rubber 61 having high Shore A hardness at the carcass folding section 41 while composed of soft rubber 62 having low Shore A hardness at the contacting side with the rim flange 80. Since the impact applied onto the rim flange due to external force during load rolling is absorbed through the soft rubber 62 in the reinforcing rubber layer 60 even for a tire having a low aspect ratio, uncomfortableness such as vibration is reduced resulting in considerable improvement of riding comfort.
