Abstract:
To enhance durability of a bead part in a tire provided with a bead core of a polygonal cross section.
In the constitution having the bead core 3 formed to the polygonal cross section by winding a steel wire 3a to an annular form at a plurality of times, a rubber sheet 4 is interposed at a corner part 3t of the polygonal cross section corresponding to at least a bead toe side on a periphery of the bead core and an end 2a of a carcass layer 2 is wound up. The rubber sheet 4 is made to a vulcanized rubber sheet having a large number of apertures 5 penetrated through front and back sides. In the manufacturing method, an unvulcanized tire having the above constitution is molded and vulcanized.
