Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a pneumatic tire that can suppress a rubber flow while preventing the thickness of a breaker portion from increasing to be lightened without irradiating directly an electron beam to a breaker and a pneumatic tire manufactured using the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a pneumatic tire comprises: a breaker portion forming step of forming a breaker portion by adhering a rubber strip to a breaker; and a vulcanization molding step of vulcanization-molding a green tire having the breaker portion. The breaker portion forming step is a step of irradiating an electron beam with irradiation voltages from 200 to 600 kV and irradiation doses from 50 to 200 kGY to the rubber strip and then adhering the rubber strip to the breaker so as to form the breaker portion. The rubber strip is made of rubber having the same composition as the breaker has.
