To provide a pneumatic tire with improved durability at the time of changing a cross-sectional shape of a closed space in a circumferential direction of the tire with a member applied to a bead part, and a method for manufacturing the pneumatic tire for improving productivity.
In the pneumatic tire 10 provided with a carcass layer 4 stretched between a right and left pair of the bead part 3, 3, and an inner liner layer 5 inside the carcass layer 4, the volume adjusting members 9 are arranged between the carcass layer 4 and the inner liner layer 5 at intervals in the circumferential direction of the tire. When forming the tire, the volume adjusting members 9 are precedently press-fitted on both side parts of a sheet-like inner liner member 15 along a longitudinal direction at intervals.
