Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a motor cycle excellent in ride comfort and durability.SOLUTION: A tire 12 comprises a tread 14, a pair of side walls 16, a pair of beads 18 and a carcass 20. A thickness of the tread 14 becomes gradually smaller inwardly in a radial direction, within a range of a joining width W with which the tread 14 is joined to the side walls 16. Within the range of the joining width W, thicknesses of the side walls 16 become gradually larger. A ratio (W/D) of distances D in the radial direction from the maximum width position Pw of the tread to a point Pf at which the side walls 16 are separated from a rim flange F to the joining width W is set to 0.4 or more and 1.2 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
