The angle formed by the first cord 34 and the second cord 38 is 30 to less than 45. The belt 12 comprises a first belt ply 42 and a spirally wound second belt ply 44. The first belt ply 42 has a third cord 48. The angle formed by the first cord 34 and the third cord 48 is 25 to 65.
