The pneumatic tire for the motorcycle is provided with a tread part 1, side wall parts 2, and bead parts 3. Respective approximate lines of the joint line between the central tread rubber 7a and an intermediate tread rubber 7b, and the joint line between the intermediate tread rubber 7b and a shoulder tread rubber 7c in a meridian cross section are extended by inclining in the direction where the virtual extension lines of the approximate lines cross a tire equatorial plane inside the tire. The crossing angle at the side of the tire equatorial plane between the approximate line j2 of the joint line between the intermediate tread rubber 7b and the shoulder tread rubber 7c, and the tangent line drawn to the jointing point of the tread rubber 7b and 7c at the ground contact surface is smaller than the crossing angle at the side of the tire equatorial plane between the approximate line j1 of the joint line between the central tread rubber 7a and the intermediate tread rubber 7b, and the tangent line drawn to the jointing point of the tread rubber 7a and 7b at the ground contact surface.
