To provide a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle for improving driving stability in high-speed travelling, traction performance when accelerating from, especially, a deep cornering wherein a vehicle (motorcycle) is tilted large, and stability when tilting a vehicle body.
The pneumatic tire includes an annular tread part 11. The tread part 11 has a spiral belt layer 3 formed at an angle of 0-5 degrees to the tire circumferential direction and arranged at a width of 0.5-0.8 times the tread width inside in the tire radial direction of a crown part so that the center in the cross direction of the spiral belt layer 3 coincides with the tire equator C. When the width of the tread part 11 is L, rubber members 4 having a volume elasticity lower than that of the rubber of the tread part 11 are linearly arranged or dotted in the spiral belt layer 3 on a side closer to the tire equator C than ends thereof over from a position at 0.2L from the tire equator C to at least one of both end sides of the tread part 11.
