Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve turning stability while holding straight line stability by forming a belt layer by winding a belt-like ply spirally and providing a filler which extends toward the inside in the direction of radius of a tire along the inside of the belt layer and an outward face of a carcass from a start end provided in a position where a tread section is regulated.
CONSTITUTION: A belt layer 6 consists of a belt ply piece which is formed by winding a long belt-like ply having small width spirally, and the belt-like ply is constituted by covering a belt cord by topping rubber. A filler 9 is arranged from a side region 12 of a tread section to a side wall region, and cord arrangement angle is arranged in the direction in which it crosses a carcass cord. A start end P2 of the filler 9 is positioned on the outside in the direction of radius of a tire from bead base line L and in a scope across a distance of 0.1 to 1.0 times tread fringe height HE which is a distance in the direction of radius of the tire from the base line L to tread fringe.
