Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire and a steel cord for reinforcing the tire in which vulcanization of the steel cord in a process of manufacturing the tire using the rubber containing steel cord is suppressed to improve durability.
In the pneumatic tire formed by vulcanization, a stranded wire is formed by stranding a plurality of steel wires W, and a tire reinforcing layer is formed with the rubber containing steel cord 10 which is formed by filling an unvulcanized rubber composition 13 in an inner void of the stranded wire. A surface of the steel cord 10 is coated with a resin film 14.
