Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a tread pattern over the whole life of a tire.
SOLUTION: The tread surface 10 of a tread part 1 for grounding which is bridged between side wall parts 3 through two tread grounding ends TCE has a tread groove G which is provided with a curved surface where a radius RC of curvature in the meridian cross-section of the tire decreases the distance SP which is 20% of the distance from the equational plane C of the tire to the tread contact end TCE toward the outside in the axial direction of the tire from a point P which makes separation in the axial direction of the tire from the equational plane C of the tire gradually, the thickness of the tread part 1 decreases from the equational plane C of the tire toward the tread grounding end TCE gradually, and the depth (d) is decreased from the equational plane C of the tire toward the tread grounding end TCE gradually.
