Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for winter excellent in performance balance of on-ice performance, high mileage and wet grip performance, and reducing a used amount of an oil resource.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire for winter is configured so that: on a tread surface, fine relieves are provided, and digging-up friction is generated and fibers are intertwined each other, for achieving high mileage. In addition, a rubber composition including a rubber component and micro-fibrillated plant fiber is used for forming a tread of the tire, in order to enhance adhesion friction effect to a frozen road, by hydrophilic effect of the fibers.
