A carcass cord 61 in at least one layer of carcass includes: a high cord section 611S with relatively high carcass rigidity; and a low cord section 612S with relatively low carcass rigidity. Further, grooves 9 which continue along a tire peripheral direction and have different tire meridian cross-sectional shapes according to the carcass rigidity of each cord section are provided at a tire outer shell in a range of a sidewall section. That is, owing to the low cord section 612S and the grooves 9, the number of ends of the carcass cord 61 is reduced so as to obtain a flexible region. Thus, deformation of a tread section 2 and a shoulder section is suppressed, and generation of the flat spot is suppressed.
