The pneumatic tire includes: the tire identification marks displayed on at least one of a pair of sidewall portions thereof; at least two decoration regions; non-decoration regions; and mark indicating regions. The two decoration regions are decorated with a large number of ridges. Each of the non-decoration regions includes a flat and smooth face which is sandwiched between the decoration regions in the tire circumference direction and has no ridges. The mark indicating region includes the tire identification marks made up of the letters, symbols, or a combination of them, each of the letters and the symbols surrounded with the non-decoration region. Each of the decoration regions has at least two kinds of regions having different ridge intervals.
