The run flat tire is configured to be folded from an inner side to an outer side in a width direction around a bead core 2, between a carcass 5 and the bead core 2. In the run flat tire, a first reinforcing layer 9 is configured so that a radial outer end 9a of a first reinforcing layer folding back part is positioned on the outer side in a tire radial direction relative to an outer end 8a of a bead filler; and a second reinforcing layer 10 is positioned along a width directional outer surface of a folding back part of the carcass, wherein whose radial outer end is positioned on the outer side in a tire radial direction relative to the radial outer end 9a of the first reinforcing layer folding back part of the first reinforcing layer 9.
