Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire that improves tire durability based on a steel cord structure.
In the pneumatic tire configured to use a steel cord 10 of a 1+N structure and including a core made of a core wire 11 and a sheath comprising a plurality of side wires 12 twisted around the core, as a reinforcing material, the twist angle θ1 of each of the side wires 12 is set to 7-11°, and at least the core wire 11 is twisted around its axis so that the wire-surface twist angle θ2 with respect to the axial direction of the core wire 11 is ≥1°.
